Unique Support for Earth’s Classroom

It has been very moving to have individuals and organizations reach out to support EC. We have 3 upcoming events to benefit EC due to the kindness and understanding by those in our region for EC’s mission.
First, we are deeply moved by the band, One Way Traffic for donating their band van for EC to sell to help replace our 19-year old fleet of canoes. It is not up for sell yet (as of 2/25/26), but soon! Call if you are interested in a 7-passenger van with room to carry gear!
Second, we are so moved that the Alpine Shop in Columbia, MO is hosting EC for a Pint Night on Thursday, March 12th from 5-7pm. All profits to purchase a glass are donated to EC! There will also be an exciting raffle, as seen on the following flyer, to either have Dinner With The Founders (4 total) OR Wild Caving With The Founders (6 total). It will be a hard decision, for they are both unique opportunities!
And finally, we are deeply moved by Gloria Attoun to host a “Sky, Water, and Ground” concert near Earth’s Day on Saturday, April 11th, 7pm at the Riverfront Cultural Society in New Haven, MO. It is a benefit concert for EC. Gloria’s uplifting, humorous and hopeful songs will be paired with projected images and videos that bring her stories of sky, water, and ground (and trees, ticks, fire, etc.) to life. Gloria will accompany her songs on guitars, banjo, mandolin, bouzouki, and harmonica. She’ll also share nature-themed activities that invite audiences to connect more deeply with the little things that are sometimes missed. This concert offers a beautiful and reflective way to honor life and the world. EC will also have a Dinner With The Founders raffle during this lovely evening. Hope to see you there!
