It has been very moving to have individuals and organizations reach out to support EC. We have 3 upcoming events to benefit EC due to the kindness and understanding by those in our region for EC’s mission. On October 25th, 2025, during the 30th annual Missouri Environmental Education Association (MEEA) Earth’s Classroom was awarded the Jan Weaver Environmental Award. This award, named for MEEA’s first executive director who retired in 2019, goes to those who demonstrate steadfast dedication to building environmental literacy in our state.
