Event Description

Missouri has some of the best caving opportunities in the world! Join us as we respectfully explore this delicate ecosystem. Sharing our knowledge about fragile calcite deposits, cave salamanders, amphipods, bats, and other organisms that inhabit the underworld is one of our most rewarding educational experiences. We will be exploring a gorgeous state-owned, permit-only cave system! You must be willing to hike. Great family learning and exploration!!


Things to Know & Required:

  • EC will provide a caving helmet with a headlamp.

  • A complete gear list will be provided to you upon reservation by email.

  • We will be in a cave for 3 full hours, and there is no bathroom inside.


Event Details

Ages: 6 & up (legal guardian must accompany anyone 15 and under)


Cost: 

  • Members - $32

  • Nonmembers - $35

  • FREE SPOTS for Gasconade County R-2 students and families (OES, GES, OMS)
