About the event

Bring your boat and we'll take care of the rest. If you don’t have a boat we can help you find one.  Join us for Paddle MO 2025, the 10th annual adventure on the Missouri River, hosted by Stream Teams United with lead on-water guides and educators, Bill and Jody Miles of Earth's Classroom. With Missouri Stream Team volunteers and staff as your support crew, we'll take you on a unique journey from Missouri's pecan capital of Brunswick, MO to our state capital of Jefferson City, MO.  We'll discover the river, get immersed in nature, explore historic river towns, and visit with experts along the way.

What types of boats do participants bring on Paddle MO?  We've had a variety of boats on the trip. We strongly encourage sit-inside kayaks or canoes and discourage sit-on-top kayaks and whitewater boats. Kayaks 12 feet or greater are preferred, although we've had kayaks 9.5 feet and greater on the trip which have done fine but are a bit slower than longer kayaks, and you will need to expect to paddle.  Let us know if you are in need of a boat, and we can help you find one to rent or borrow.

Prefer to pay by check or Venmo and save the credit card processing fee? Fill out the hard copy registration and send your check to Stream Teams United at PO Box 483, Shelbina, MO 63468 or Venmo us @StreamTeamsUnited.
