About the event

The Paddle MO Ozarks 2025 event will take registered participants on a unique 3-day journey down 22 miles of the upper Meramec River, one of the most biologically diverse rivers in the United States. With lead on-water educators Bill and Jody Miles of Earth's Classroom, we will discover the river, get immersed in nature, explore local history, and visit with experts along the way.  The optional arrival day is Thursday, October 2nd. The paddle will occur Friday-Sunday, October 3-5.  If you arrive on Friday October 3rd, you will need to check-in by 8:30 AM.

Headquarters for Paddle MO Ozarks 2025 will be at Indian Springs Family Resort near Steelville, MO.  Lodging options include campsites, camper sites, cabins and tipis.   Reservations for your camping or lodging option are being done directly through the resort (call Larry at 573-775-2266).

Most participants bring their own canoe or kayak. But if you need a boat, just let us know and we can help find one for you to rent or borrow.  If wanting to rent a canoe, please rent canoes through Earth’s Classroom at 573-437-7628.
