About the event

Event Description
Follow our footsteps through the forest as we explore the science of safely extracting sap from sugar maples (Acer saccharum), the history of syruping in Missouri (yes, it’s not just for northern states!), and the sweet benefits of this delicious tradition. Get hands-on with syrup-making and enjoy hot drinks and treats at the event.
This event takes place at the home of Earth's Classroom's directors. We will meet at Earth's Classroom no later than 12:45 pm, then caravan to home.
Things to Know & Required:
Please bring your own mug for hot drinks.
Meet at Earth’s Classroom by 12:45 PM for the caravan to the site.
