About the event

Event Description

Join Earth’s Classroom instructors for an educational adventure like no other, exhilarating for all ages. Snorkel, paddle, and swim as you explore the waters of the Big Piney River. Take in towering limestone bluffs and pine-lined banks while discovering the incredible plants and wildlife that call this waterway home.


This day-long trip is packed with hands-on exploration and summertime fun. Ages six and under are free. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable river experience!


Trips include 1.5-hour-long canoe paddling & safety course by MO State Whitewater Champions and an ACA Level 4 Canoe Instructor. Snorkel masks, canoes, paddles, PFDs (lifejackets), nets, seines, aquariums, and an ecological education unlike any other!!


We will meet at Dogs Bluff MDC Access the morning of.


Things to Know & Required:

  • Two competent paddlers needed per canoe (EC can help you find a partner if needed)

  • Logistics packet will be emailed to you after payment is received
