Event Description
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! The American woodcock, a unique Missouri native, puts on an unforgettable spring performance. With its distinctive “peenting” song and sky dance soaring up to 300 feet, this elusive bird brings spring to life! Join us for an evening of discovery as we teach you how to spy on woodcocks and identify other evening songs of the season. Be ready for a fun hike as you experience nature’s spring spectacle up close.
Things to Know & Required:
Be prepared for a hike in the evening.
Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for the outdoors.
Please wear neutral-colored clothing to better observe wildlife.
Bring binoculars if you have them.
